Estonia's government announced on its X social network account that it had sent "Mistral" air defense missile systems in Ukraine.

"The short range air defense systems "Mistral" and the missiles for them provided by Estonia have already been delivered to Ukraine," the statement said.

The "Mistral" was developed in France and is designed to destroy helicopters and airplanes. Such missiles can be fired by individual military personnel or mounted on vehicles, ships or helicopters.
