During the massive attack by Russian forces on Ukraine on July 8, 38 different missiles were used, as well as the "new hypersonic weapon". This is stated in a summary of the command of the Air Force of Ukraine.

In total, during the July 8 attack, the Russians used:
1 Kh-47M2 "Dagger" aeroballistic missile
4 "Iskander-M" ballistic missiles
1 cruise missile 3M22 "Zircon"
13 X-101 cruise missiles
14 cruise missiles " Caliber"
2 X-22 cruise missiles
3 X-59/X-69 guided missiles.
According to the Air Force Command of Ukraine, air defense destroyed 30 of these missiles. In particular, 11 X-101 missiles and 12 missiles " Caliber".
Defense Express experts note that "the Russians have used almost every type of missile at their disposal. The only exceptions are the P-500 cruise missiles to the "Iskander" operational-tactical complexes. and the weapons produced in North Korea".
Ukrainian media emphasize that the Western community condemned the Russian attack. Some senior officials have said they are "boosting their motivation" to provide Ukraine with spare parts for the Patriot and F-16 air defense systems.
