The Russian Ministry of Defense said today that his forces have captured the village of Vesele near Pokrovsk in eastern Ukraine, Reuters reported, citing information in the Russian media, BTA reports.
Pokrovsk, whose pre-war population reached 61,000, is an important transport link, as an important main road passes through it. It is used as a route for supplies to other cities under the control of the Ukrainian government, including Chasov Yar and Konstantinovka, the agency explained.
