Spaceship "Progress MS-28" took off from Baikonur and was brought into orbit, TASS reported.

The flight to the International Space Station is expected to last about two days. Connecting to the "Star" module is scheduled for 08:56 Moscow time on Saturday.

The rocket "Soyuz-2.1a" with the spacecraft "Progress MS-28" took off at 06:20 Moscow time. This was the third launch of the spacecraft of the "Progress MS" type. for this year and the fifth launch of the rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

"Progress MS-28" will deliver to the ISS 2,621 kg of cargo, including 950 kg of refueling fuel, 420 liters of potable water, 50 kg of compressed nitrogen in bottles, as well as about 1,201 kg of various equipment and materials.
