Intensive traffic is observed at the border points to Bulgaria with the end of the summer holidays of Turkish guest workers returning to European countries, where they live and work, reports the Turkish edition "Son Haber", quoted by BTA.
The queues forming at the Kapakule/Kapitan Andreevo and Hamzabeyli/Lesovo border crossings create difficulties for Turks on their way back after their vacation in Turkey, the site notes.
With the end of the summer vacations, the queues of vehicles at the borders have started to increase, which also increases the waiting time to pass through the checkpoints.
Migrants are advised to monitor the traffic situation at border crossings before traveling to Europe and consider alternative routes, the news outlet noted. It is also recommended that they leave earlier to reduce the waiting time at the border crossings and prepare all the necessary documentation in advance.
