Tonight, a fire broke out in the city of Novi Sad, northern Serbia, which claimed the lives of six people, including four children, reported Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic, Tanjug reports, quoted by News. bg
The fire started in the home of a family, with the oldest victim being 29 years old and the children between the ages of two and seven. Firefighters were able to put out the fire, and it is believed that the cause of the accident was a scooter left charging in the mains. These vehicles, also popular as electric scooters, have entered cities en masse as a convenient and cheap method of transportation.
Fires caused by electrical devices left on are a serious threat, especially in enclosed spaces such as homes. Charging electric vehicles and devices should be done carefully, avoiding leaving them unattended for long periods to prevent such tragedies.
