In the ranking, based on the amount of taxes paid in 2023, the son-in-law of the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Selcuk Bayraktar, who, in addition to being the chairman of the Board of Directors of "Baykar", is also the company's technical director, ranks first . He is also the creator of the world famous "Bayraktar" drone, which has proven its effectiveness in conflicts from Syria to Azerbaijan and Ukraine.
The second place on the list is occupied by his older brother Halyuk Bayraktar, general director of "Baykar".
Mustafa Rahmi Koc ranked third in the list of Turkey's tax record holders.
The names of the first three places on the list have not changed compared to 2022, notes the private television channel NTV.
According to the data announced by the Turkish Revenue Agency, in 2023, Selcuk Bayraktar has accrued 1.95 billion Turkish liras in taxes (28.85 million euros).
Halyuk Bayraktar paid 1.68 billion liras (28.14 million euros), and the honorary president of "Koch Holding" Mustafa Rahmi Koc - 480 million pounds (12.65 million euros).
