Harris called Trump "incredibly irresponsible" - 1

U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris called former head of state Donald Trump “incredibly irresponsible” as she said he spread lies about government measures related to the effects of hurricane "Helen", reported the Associated Press.

„There is a lot of lies and misinformation being spread by the former president about what is being provided, especially for the survivors of “Helen”. This is extremely irresponsible,'' Harris told reporters before boarding the presidential jet to fly to New York.

Hurricane “Helen“ took the lives of more than 220 people in six US states, while Hurricane “Milton“ approaching the coast of Florida.

Trump has made numerous false statements on the subject, including saying the federal government is deliberately withholding aid from disaster victims who support the Republican Party. He also falsely claimed that the Federal Emergency Management Agency was out of money because all the funds went to programs for illegal immigrants, AP notes.

Harris, for her part, said the federal agency actually has a lot of resources available to people in need. According to her, with its resources, the agency is helping people get back on their feet and rebuild their homes.

Meanwhile, Reuters reported, citing its sources, that billionaire Elon Musk plans to campaign in the state of Pennsylvania in support of Donald Trump.

A few days ago, Musk appeared with Trump at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. Already in July, the owner of the car manufacturer “Tesla” and the social network "X" publicly declared his support for Trump in the upcoming presidential election.

Pennsylvania is considered a key state for both Trump and his Democratic opponent Kamala Harris in the Nov. 5 presidential race. Trump has planned for tomorrow two rallies in the state - in the cities of Scranton and Redding.
