"This experience can be further sought if new regions appear in our country that are very close to us, because this is possible", he noted.
United Russia will help and strengthen the positions of veterans of the war in Ukraine, the former Russian president added.
Medvedev also stressed that Moscow's opponents are doing everything to further fan the flames of the conflict in Ukraine, while Russian society has rallied in an attempt to repel the aggressor.
According to the chairman of United Russia, the past year has become a time of difficult trials, the West continues to "pump the Kiev regime with money and weapons", in addition, attacks against Russia continue.
