Russia launched another massive attack on Ukraine with missiles and drones on Wednesday, targeting gas infrastructure and other energy facilities in western Ukraine, Reuters reported. The agency noted that these were the latest Russian strikes on Ukraine's energy grid in the middle of winter.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russian forces had fired more than 40 missiles and over 70 drones during their morning attack. Ukrainian air defenses shot down at least 30 missiles, he added.
