Despite the recent massive Russian attack, Ukraine's energy system continues to operate stably, Ukrinform reported, citing a post by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal on “Telegram“.
“The enemy targeted the gas infrastructure and facilities that ensure the normal life of people. Thanks to the air defense forces, the Russian scenario failed again. The energy system is operating stably“, Shmygal wrote.
The Prime Minister thanked the Ukrainian defenders for their professional competence.
According to Shmygal, decisive actions are needed to stop Russia, such as weapons, air defense systems and strict sanctions. According to him, it is necessary to exert more pressure on Russia in order to weaken its war-fighting capabilities.
Ukrinform recalls that earlier today, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that this morning Russia had fired more than 40 missiles at Ukraine, including ballistic missiles. Ukrainian defenders intercepted at least 30 missiles. The enemy also launched 70 drones.
