Mirage and F-16 provide cover, attack with radar and keep watch in the air to prevent Russian aircraft from getting close. And they will not do it, because Mirage and F-16 will lose in an air battle. He added that Soviet aircraft, such as the Su-27 and MiG-29, were adapted to the precision missiles of Western partners long before the invasion of Russia.
"This adaptation took place back in the days when NATO included Eastern European countries. There was the Warsaw Pact, and there were still Soviet aircraft that had to be used in some way for the country to fight. That is why they were adapted for American and other missiles. This is not something new that has been done with us now. This technological solution has been adopted for a long time and has been used for a long time“, Hetman adds.
