Kremlin says: Ukrainian drones against Moscow are a terrorist act - 1

"Terrorist acts" - this is how the Kremlin defined the Ukrainian attacks on the capital Moscow in the last 24 hours before the May 9 celebrations, "Reuters" reported.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said to reporters that "the Kiev regime continues to demonstrate its nature, its propensity for terrorist acts".

He stressed that Russia is doing everything possible to ensure the security of the celebrations, which will be attended by world leaders, including the presidents of Brazil and China.

When asked whether Russia would respond to the Ukrainian attempts to strike the capital, the Kremlin spokesman specified that the Russian proposal for a three-day ceasefire around the celebrations is still in effect. According to Dmitry Peskov, Russia will observe the ceasefire, but will respond if Ukraine attacks.

We recall that Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a 3-day ceasefire on the occasion of the parade on May 9. In response, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that if Russia is ready to talk about a real ceasefire, then the parties should support the initial US proposal for an unconditional 30-day ceasefire.

In recent days, Kiev has sent drones over Moscow several times, which were, however, shot down. Due to the attacks on May 6 and 7, major airports in the capital have ceased operations.
