Arab countries must unite their efforts to resolve regional crises, first of all, to stop the brutal aggression in Gaza. This was stated by Jordanian Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan, speaking at the opening of the 34th summit of the League of Arab States (LAF) in Baghdad, broadcast by the Iraqi television channel Al-Ikhbariya.
“The end of the war will allow us to move towards a just solution to the Palestinian problem, which will bring peace and stability to the Middle East“, said the politician. “We are faced with the task of ensuring a prosperous and secure future for the new generations.“
Hassan stressed that the Jordanian kingdom will continue to provide humanitarian aid to the population of the enclave, who are suffering from hunger, thirst and disease. “The war that Israel is waging is contrary to all international norms“, he noted. “Violations of the legitimate rights of the Palestinians must cease“.
