Ukraine has called on its Western allies to increase arms supplies and impose more sanctions on Russia, saying they do not believe that Moscow really wants a diplomatic solution to the conflict, DPA reported, quoted by BTA.
"There is no room for compromise at the moment", wrote on "Telegram" presidential adviser Mykhailo Podoliak.
He said there was only one way to force Russia to make peace.
"Peace will come only when Russia is no longer capable of attacking," Podoliak added.
Moscow's demands, which include retaining territory, disarming Ukraine and blocking Kiev from joining NATO, are non-negotiable because they would deprive Ukraine of its independence, Podoliak said.
