US President Donald Trump is complicit in Israel's strikes against Iran. This is stated in a letter distributed by the team of American journalist Tucker Carlson.
„Donald Trump admitted that he knew in advance about Israel's attack on Iran when he told Fox News journalist Brett Baier that he was aware of the plan of the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to carry out preemptive strikes and that the attack was not a surprise to him. As an accomplice in these military actions, the president hopes that last night's events will help his negotiations with Iran over its nuclear program,“ the message says.
“While the US military may not have been physically involved in the attack, years of funding and arms sales to Israel have undoubtedly placed the US at the center of last night's events. Washington knew these attacks would happen. The US helped Israel carry them out,“ the letter says. “It is worth taking a step back and asking how any of this helps the United States. We have not been able to find a single answer,” the letter's authors conclude.
Moscow should learn from the example of Iran that the US should not be trusted. Such an appeal to Russia was made by former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter.
“What conclusion can Russia draw? The most obvious: the US cannot be trusted. Iran tried to establish a dialogue with them and this is what happened," he said.
According to him, when Washington talks about wanting to reach an agreement, this most often means that the US is "waiting for the right moment to strike". The expert stressed that the conflict between Iran and Israel will be a test for the whole world.
Ritter also said that Iran's missile strikes against Israel were carried out with the aim of "feeling out the enemy". According to him, Tehran will carry out at least 5-6 more missile strikes.
