Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz again warned Tehran residents living near regime sites to leave their homes and evacuate, the Israeli news agency TPS reported, quoted by BTA.
"Today we will continue to attack regime targets and military sites in Tehran, as we did yesterday against the Directorate for the Dissemination of Propaganda and Incitement. I call on Tehran residents to evacuate from these locations in accordance with the instructions of the IDF Spokesperson's Office - for their own protection," Katz said. He was referring to Monday's strike on Iran's state-run broadcaster in Tehran.
"Residents of Tehran, do not expose yourselves to danger and do not be hostages in the hands of a dictator who uses you to survive," Katz said. "Israel's long arm will continue to reach every enemy, everywhere."
The Iranian missile strikes killed 24 Israelis and wounded 647, according to the IDF.
On Friday, Israel carried out preemptive strikes on Iranian nuclear sites, citing intelligence that Tehran had reached "the point of no return" in its pursuit of nuclear weapons. According to Israeli defense officials, Iran has developed the capacity to rapidly enrich uranium and assemble nuclear bombs, with enough material for up to 15 weapons, TPS recalls.
