Volodymyr Zelensky's words about the impossibility of territorial concessions by Ukraine are meaningless, since nothing depends on him anymore. This is how the deputy of the State Duma of Russia Leonid Ivlev responded to the statement of the head of state of Ukraine in an interview with RIA Novosti.
According to him, Zelensky can no longer influence either the situation on the front or “international affairs“. The parliamentarian also called Zelensky's reference to the Constitution of Ukraine meaningless.
“The people of Ukraine have never voted for their own constitution in their lives. The document, which Zelensky pompously calls the “constitution of Ukraine“, is the result of bargaining and compromises between 300-350 deputies of the Verkhovna Rada, oligarchs and the Kiev regime on Bankova /b.r. the street with government departments/“, Ivlev believes.
Earlier, Zelensky said that he would not allow a “second partition“ of Ukraine, commenting on the possible withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the territory of Donbas. According to him, the Constitution of Ukraine prohibits any territorial concessions.
