The UK will deport criminal Bulgarians without the right to appeal the decision before expulsion, reports BNR.
Bulgaria is one of 15 countries added to a system called "deportation now, appeal later".
It was introduced by the previous Conservative British government and has now been expanded by the ruling Labour Party on the grounds that a large number of criminals can spend additional months and even years in the UK while waiting for a decision on their deportation appeal.
Under the scheme, deportees can subsequently be heard on their appeals via video link.
Among the added countries, most are in Africa and Southeast Asia. Canada, India and Australia are also included, and in Europe, Bulgaria and Latvia have been added.
