Over 35 YouTube channels were blocked in Ukraine for broadcasting “Russian narratives“, the Center for Combating Disinformation at the National Security Council reported.

“Recently, over 35 channels of individuals spreading narratives compatible with Russian propaganda were blocked on YouTube in Ukraine“, the Center reported in a message on its Telegram channel.

Among those blocked are two channels of journalist Alexander Shelest, two channels of former adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovich (included in the list of terrorists and extremists of the Russian Federation), the channel of independent Verkhovna Rada deputy Artyom Dmytruk, political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko, TV presenter and State Duma deputy Anatoly Wasserman, writer Zakhar Prilepin and others.

Zelensky regularly signs decrees on sanctions against Russian individuals and legal entities, as well as against citizens of Ukraine and other countries that Kiev accuses of collaborating with the Russian Federation. Ministries and departments develop sanctions lists, make proposals, and then the Security Council makes the appropriate decisions. At the same time, Kiev constantly imposes its proposals for sanctions against Moscow on Western countries.
