A bus carrying 38 Serbian tourists was attacked with stones last night on the Egnatia highway near the exit for the old Thessaloniki-Veria road in Greece, Serbian media reported, quoted by BTA.
According to the police report, the incident was caused by four people, most likely minors, and several windows were broken, the Greek newspaper "Kathimerini" reported.
A driver, who was not behind the wheel at the time of the incident, was slightly injured, the travel agency that transported the tourists reported, RTS reported. Greek media reported two more slightly injured tourists who did not seek medical attention.
The passengers returned to Serbia on another bus. Greek police detained two people, but no evidence has been found against them so they were released.
