About 15 drones are attacking the southern part of the Ukrainian Odessa region from the Black Sea, local channels in the “Telegram“ application report. The main strike is aimed at the regions of Tuzli, Tatarbunary and Primorsko, with explosions echoing and targets being hit, BTA reports.
A group of drones is approaching the Izmail region and is currently located around the Snake Island, the Izmail regional state administration reported on Facebook. Regional authorities are urging residents to immediately take shelter in bomb shelters. The alarm was declared at 18:14, and the attack continues.
Over 150,000 Bulgarians live in the Odessa region, making it the third largest compact Bulgarian population in Ukraine. The city of Odessa itself is home to about 50-60 thousand Bulgarians, and the largest compact communities are in the Bolgrad, Izmail and Belgorod-Dniester regions.
