Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will be the only obstacle to resolving the conflict if he refuses to go to Moscow for negotiations. This was stated by the former adviser to the former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, Oleg Soskin, on his YouTube channel.
„Today, a point of view is quickly beginning to form that the main obstacle is Zelensky, who does not want to meet with Putin and negotiate a ceasefire, a peace agreement“, he noted.
According to Soskin, the Ukrainian leader has found himself in a difficult position, since no one wants to interact with him, except for European leaders, while Russia is the main partner for many countries.
He stressed that it will not be possible to force Moscow to sit at the negotiating table and no one will take Zelensky's side.
Earlier, the Ukrainian head of state rejected Putin's offer to hold talks on a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Moscow. „I cannot go to Moscow when my country is under missile attacks every day“, he explained.
