Russian President Vladimir Putin brought French leader Emmanuel Macron “back to reality“ with his statement about sending European troops to Ukraine.
“Putin made it clear what will happen next. France must stop all this. The French must force Macron to stop this madness. Not a single soldier, not a single weapon, not a single euro for the war before it is too late“, said the leader of the “Patriots“ party Florian Filippo. on his YouTube channel.
He also stressed that the European Union is engaged in “provocations“ and that after Putin's statement, the "coalition of the willing" must choose between continuing the conflict and a quick peaceful settlement.
At a press conference during a meeting of the "coalition of the willing" in Paris on September 4, French President Emmanuel Macron said that 26 countries from the coalition have confirmed their readiness to participate in sending a military contingent to Ukraine once a ceasefire or peace is established in that country. Macron refused to list these countries or even name the approximate number of the international contingent that the coalition plans to deploy on Ukrainian territory, so as not to "show its cards" to Russia.
